Kennedy Range Discovery Tour

We love the Kennedy Ranges in northern Western Australia but we’ve only explored small part of this spectacular area. In 2008 we ran our first “Discovery Tour” there, setting up just a few base camps and venturing out each day to find out more about this scenic, ancient and remote mountain range together. Each night we’d come back to camp to enjoy a delicious ‘bush dinner’ prepared by our experienced Safari Hostess, Rebina Criddle. The territory we covered had been traversed by so few people that the Department of Environment and Conservation asked us to prepare a report for them about our observations and experiences there!

The tour was such a success that we’ve decided to incorporate at least one “Discovery Tour” of a new area of the Aussie Outback in our calendar each year. In 2009 we’ll be exploring the Flinders Ranges. In 2010, we’ll go back to the Kennedys to explore the parts we couldn’t include on the 2008 excursion.

These areas are all new to us as well so this will be a real pioneering adventure at a special discovery price! Tour will start and finish in Carnarvon. Places will be strictly limited so get in early!
