The Holy Trinity Church was consecrated in 1858 and features Robert Juniper stain glass windows, Benedictine alter panels, an old pipe organ and an eight-bell belltower.
The church hall was normally the Church of St John and was relocated to its present site in 1905.
Mount Brown Lookout is reached via Pioneer Drive east of town and is 342 metres above sea level. The lookout is accessible by foot or vehicle, and provides a beautiful 360 degree panoramic view of the surrounds and the little town below.
This is the site of the depot for sandalwood, which was transported to Fremantle, then shipped to Asia for incense and oil. Hundreds of cutters made a living bush felling the wood in the mid 1860's. The Old York Hospital is an interesting two-storey heritage brick building, which was built in 1895. It is rumoured to be haunted, with varying reports of ghost sightings.

York Town Hall was built in 1911 and is a significant part of York’s townscape. It is a fine example of Edwardian opulence, with its elaborate corner entry, feature clock, extensive use of columns, ornate facade and significant fanlight over the main entrance.
