Set on a very picturesque working alpaca farm it is renowned as an alternative destination to explore the Margaret River wine region, the magnificent forests of the South West and the tall timbers of Pemberton.

From Balingup, it`s only two and half hours to the famous Tree Top Walk, one hour to the Underwater Observatory at Busselton or one hour to the Dolphin Discovery Centre at Bunbury.

Adjacent to and overlooking the world famous Bibbulmun bush walking track our two bedroom cottages Blue Wren and Red Robin that sleep up to six people are the perfect getaway for families, friends and walkers. Superbly appointed and finished with polished jarrah floors, stained glass doors and Western Australian timbers the cottages are the perfect destination. Children are very welcome and parents are pampered.

Spa Cottages

Luxuriously appointed rammed earth cottages, Ibis and Rosella are designed just for two; complete with king size beds, bathrobes, fluffy bath sheets, masseur by appointment and a spacious deck to relax on. Rosella and Ibis, our brookside deluxe spa cottages with fabulous outdoor covered gazebo, are set high amongst the tree tops and have their own steaming candlelit outdoor hot tub spa for your absolute indulgence. The hardest thing you will have to do is leave. Surrounded by a framework of towering eucalypts, wattles and poplars, the brook meanders around the property to provide a stunning backdrop from the cottages and perfect to enjoy the abundant birdlife and stunning sunsets. Ibis and Rosella reflect all that Jalbrook has become renowned for, which keeps our guests returning time and time again. Both of these cottages are fully self contained with fresh crisp bed linen, fluffy towels, heated towel rails, log fires, doonas with electric blankets and a choice of pillows. With a DVD and compact disc player as well as a range of books and games there is something to cater for all tastes.

Family Cottage

Two bedroom rammed earth cottages that are beautifully appointed for your long or short term stay. Both Red Robin and Blue Wren are spacious two bedroom rammed earth cottages with outdoor balconies that overlook Balingup Brook with great water views. Superbly appointed they can accommodate four to six people and are ideal for small groups and families. Bedroom one has a queen size bed and bedroom two has two king size single beds. There is also a queen size sofa bed for extra people. Both of these cottages are fully self contained and air conditioned, with fresh crisp bed linen, fluffy towels, heated towel rails, log fires, doonas with electric blankets and a choice of pillows. With a DVD and compact disc player as well as a range of books and games there is something to cater for all tastes.
