The 16th Annual Spring Car Nationals

The 16th Annual Spring Car Nationals is being held over three days on Friday night 28th Saturday November 29th and Sunday November 30th 2008.


Each year entrants consist of standard to highly modified vehicles from the 1920 s through to present day. The concept has been very well received to the region and the number of spectators and entrants have grown considerably each year.


The Shepparton Vic event is held at DECA (Driver Education Centre of Australia) which is an ideal venue. Springnats is all about admiring the best cars in the land and spending quality time with family and friends, whilst witnessing some of the most powerful cars compete side by side in events such as:


* Go To Whoa, fast pace action of timed vehicles competing over 140 meters who are required to stop on a designated point. The fastest time is the winner.

* Motorkana, fast pace obstacle course action, set against the clock.

* Show N Shine, competitors show their restoration expertise and beauty of their cars.

* Dyno Challenge, see cars go through their gears in a stationary position on the Dyno Machine.

* Cruise Track, open for competitors to cruise slowly around the site to show off their vehicles.

* Burnout Title, the best burnout is judged on crowd response, smoke, vehicle presentation and control technique.
