Mornington Peninsula International Pinot Noir Celebration

The fourth biennial Pinot Noir Celebration will be held on 6 & 7 February 2009. Mornington Peninsula Vignerons invite Pinot Noir enthusiasts to celebrate the magic of this cool climate variety with a global perspective. The full program is available at our website above.


The Celebration includes Pinot Noir from around the world tasted alongside national and international wine media, producers and consumers from the US, France, New Zealand and Australia, during two days of serious fun! Taste wines during two days in the beautiful setting at Lindenderry, visit local Cellar Doors for lunches and experience both Dinners created at Lindenderry for your enjoyment.


Guest Wineries will represent France, Canada, Oregon, California, New Zealand, Australia and of course Mornington Peninsula. The 2009 keynote Speaker will be Jancis Robinson MW and Guest Producer Frederic Mugnier of Domaine Jacques-Frederic Mugnier.


In 2009, the inaugural Pinot Garden Showcase will also be held. On Sunday 8 February 2009 from 11am - 4pm at Lindenderry at Red Hill visitors can relax with a regional selection of Pinots and local fine food in the beautiful Sunken Garden setting. A Burgundian masterclass will be conducted during the day.
