2009 Australian Open Men`s and Women`s Road Cycling Championships

Ballarat and the community of Buninyong are proud to host the 2009 Scody Australian Open Men`s and Women`s Road Cycling Championships.


The 2009 championships will showcase some of Australia`s best male and female cycling talent. Witness our Tour de France stars, Commonwealth Games and Olympic heros battle to be crowned Australia`s best road cyclist.


Four days of exciting racing in and around Buninyong, near the historical town of Ballarat. Starting with a the men`s under 23 and women`s time trials,, Elite Men`s time trials, followed by some fast racing on Saturday with the Men`s under 23 road race and the women`s road race in the afternoon. Cluminating on Sunday, Jaunuary 11, with the men`s road race to see who can take out the title of Australian Champion!


Buninyong will be the place to be to watch the best cycling in Australia in 2009!
