Janalli Gardens and Bed and Breakfast 

Your hosts, Alan and Phillipa, have created a beautiful multicultural garden nestled in the hills surrounding Tarago Lake. In this idyllic and secluded spot you can be assured of a restful stay in the luxurious, purpose built guest wing of their home.


Two double suites face onto a verandah which overlooks the garden and the lake. Both suites are equipped with quality furnishings including open fires and luxurious ensuite bathrooms.


A conservatory provides an area for relaxing, reading, listening to music or just sitting by the fire. Breakfast is served in here or on the verandah depending on weather and your preference. Other meals can be provided by prior arrangement.


The 10 acre garden surrounding the house has been designed as a multicultural Australian garden and as such represents some of the major cultures in our society. These range from an Australian bush food garden to a formal Japanese garden. The permaculture vegetable and fruit garden provides produce for the family and guests.


Two lakes stocked with trout are available for fly fishing.


Neerim South is in Gourmet Deli Country and offers many attractions for visitors. You can visit nurseries, wineries, a boutique brewery, cheese factories, berry farms and a smokehouse. A variety of restaurants and cafes provide a range of foods for every taste. You can walk under majestic trees in the nearby State Forest or explore the secret paths of The Glen of Nayook. Many local streams provide sport for fishermen.


To the south of the highway the Strzeleckis provide wonderful scenery particularly along the Grand Ridge Road. We can advise you on places to visit. Melbourne is only just over an hour away but this lush green area will surprise and delight you.
