The PS Marion is a fully restored heritage vessel built in 1897 and is the last operational, heritage, steam driven, wood fired, overnight passenger carrying side paddle steamer in the world.
PS Marion provides a unique opportunity to experience the thrills and mysteries of the golden years of riverboats. Undertaking short cruises throughout the year on the Murray River departing from Mary Ann Reserve in Mannum, PS Marion also conducts overnight passenger cruises, including the acclaimed Rockford Steam Powered Dinners as well as being available for private charter cruises.
Whilst idle and moored PS Marion is showcased as an integral part of the Mannum Dock Museum and is open for viewing seven days a week in conjunction with the Museum`s open hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm. Visitors are welcome to view PS Marion whilst she is moored at her home at Arnold Park Wharf including inspection of the galley, dining room, lounges and cabin accommodation.

Join the PS Marion`s crew aboard the heritage paddle steamer for a short cruise along the mighty Murray River. Gain an advantageous perspective of the river town of Mannum as you relax and enjoy the passing river scenery and listen to the slap of the paddles. PS Marion Murray River Four Day/Three Night Cruise
Enjoy cruising the mighty Murray River on the PS Marion heritage paddle steamer.
Day One - Friday. Join PS Marion this afternoon, embarkation commences from 2pm at Arnold Park, Mannum. Departing at 3pm we cruise upstream to our overnight mooring at Piggy Flat.
Day Two - Saturday. Departing Piggy Flat this morning we cruise past the settlements of Bowhill and Purnong to Big Bend where you will be treated to a Big Bend By Night Experience.
Day Three - Sunday. This morning we cruise downstream passing spectacular river cliffs and a myriad of birdlife to Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park. Join guides on a tour through the Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal Site and experience aboriginal culture as you journey through the ancestral home of the Nganguraku people before continuing downstream past the settlements of Wongulla and Walker Flat to our overnight mooring near Caurnamont.
Day Four - Monday. Your final day on board PS Marion. Relax and enjoy the passing river scenery and listen to the slap of the paddles as we steam back to our home Port of Mannum, arriving mid afternoon.
