Hobart Paddle

Hobart Paddle offers participants a guided kayaking experience along Hobart’s stunning waterfront in southern Tasmania. The adventure includes fresh fish and chips straight from the punt, without getting out of your kayak.
Run by multi-award winning Freycinet Adventures, the tour follows the shoreline of historic Battery Point towards Salamanca and ‘The Docks,’ providing a unique view of the harbour city. No experience is necessary and the knowledgeable guides will provide you with stable double kayaks, all equipment and paddling instruction before you take off. Single bookings are welcome, and the tour operates with a minimum of two guests and maximum of 12. Freycinet Adventures specialises in small group experiences with a balance of adventure and appreciation of Tasmania’s stunning coastal environments.
You do not need to be able to swim and Hobart Paddle is an ideal way to get staff out of the office for some exercise and fun. Simply put on some casual clothing and bring along some sunscreen, hat, water bottle and optional camera. The guides will provide everything else you need including life jacket, warm top and spray jacket. Hobart Paddle meets at Marieville Esplanade in Sandy Bay down by the water’s edge.
