Roaring 40`s Ocean Kayaking (Hire)

Our on-the-water kayak centre is located in one of Tasmania`s prime sea kayaking locations, the D`Entrecasteaux Channel. Leaving from our docks, you can easily spend three or more days paddling this area encountering fairy penguins, sea eagles, stingrays, seals and even dolphins, all of whom call the channel home. We can advise you on the best campsites (all without surf landings) and help you with route decisions according to prevailing weather. Or, if you prefer, you can also take our kayaks away and explore Tassie`s many other kayaking venues. .
Rental Rates:
Single or Double Kayaks - per person: $20.00 for one hour, $30.00 for two hours, half day $40.00, daily $55.00, 4+ Days: $40.00 (after day three)
One hour rescue session: $65.00 per person
All rentals include: paddles, spraydecks, bilge pumps and bouyancy vests
Extended rentals also include: spare paddle, paddlefloat, repair kit, distress flares, Epirb for remote areas.
