Hillview House 

Hillview House (circa 1840) provides bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Launceston, Tasmania. The National Trust listed house commands sweeping views over Launceston and the Tamar estuary.
There are nine elegantly furnished en suite rooms with modern facilities. Choose from twin, double and deluxe rooms. The twin rooms are appointed with two single beds and the double room has one double bed. Two deluxe rooms offer queen-size beds and spacious living areas with a lounge or chairs. A continental or fully cooked breakfast is included and is served in the colonial breakfast room. The Hillview House has been sympathetically restored and each room is uniquely decorated.
Hillview is ideally located to explore northern Tasmania’s many attractions including award-winning local restaurants and Tamar Valley wineries. Sample the cool-climate wines and enjoy fruit orchards and river scenery along the way. Savour the beauty of Cataract Gorge and experience the Old Launceston Seaport. Also within easy driving distance are Evandale Historic Village and Woolmers Estate at Longford. The largest lavender farm in the southern hemisphere, Bridestowe Lavender Farm, is a short distance away. Spend your time exploring northern Tasmania before retreating back to the comfort of Hillview House.
