Day Four – After a relaxed breakfast the day starts with the Ridge Top Tour with spectacular view of this region. With time to explore Arkaroola centre and grab some lunch. Before heading of back through the Gammon Ranges to Blinman copper mines 1859-1908 as we journey southwards via `Great Wall of China` Stokes Hill Lookout, Cazenaux tree and return to Wilpena Pound Resort. Day Five - Unfortunately our time in the Flinders closes and with an early start, leads us on a picturesque drive through Moralana valley which lies between the southwest wall of Wilpena Pound and the Elder Ranges. Day One – Leave Adelaide at 8.30am. Travel via the South Eastern Freeway and take a step back in time visiting Old Tailem Town. Wander around this historic village, which contains more than 70 historic buildings dating back to the 1900s. After lunch on the banks of Lake Albert at Meningie we visit Camp Coorong Cultural Museum to gain an insight into the culture and heritage of the Ngarrindjeri people. The Coorong is famous for its diversity of birdlife with over 200 species. Observe birds and take in the scenic views at Parnka Point our overnight camping destination.
Day Two – After a hearty breakfast we break camp to continue our travels to Kingston South East. Whist in Kingston see Larry the Lobster, enjoy views of the town from the Old Cape Jaffa Lighthouse, visit Kev’s Kollection (a tractor museum featuring displays of farm equipment and antiques) or simply enjoy a stroll along the beach. After lunch we travel through Robe before setting up camp in Little Dip Conservation Park.
Day Three – Today we travel to Naracoorte, camping in the World Heritage Listed Naracoorte Caves National Park. We visit the Wonambi Fossil Centre and enjoy the experience of these beautiful underground caves. Stay overnight in Naracoorte. Optional horse riding or Bool Lagoon boardwalk are available at own cost.
Day Four – We visit the Sheeps Back Museum in Naracoorte before heading to Clayton Farm Heritage Museum in Bordertown. After lunch we take a look at the only known colony of white kangaroos in Australia. Then travel via Keith, Tintinara, Coonalpyn and Tailem Bend back to Adelaide arriving at approximately 5.30pm.

Day Four - Unfortunately our time in the Flinders Ranges comes to an end as we pack ready to leave Wilpena Pound. Our return journey takes us southwards via historic Hawker Railway Station and lunch stop. As we head to Mintaro, we find historical Martindale Hall this beautiful 19th Century Georgian mansion is magnificent built in 1879. While in area become a child again and enjoy the Mintaro Maze.
As we meander on country roads in our chauffeured four-wheel drive vehicle ideal for the area, we visit Sevenhill Cellars and see the impressive heritage church. Jesuit priests established the Sevenhill Cellars and Monastery in 1848, with traditional wine making skills, to produce sacramental wine. As we continue on with our selected wineries, and stop for a relaxing platter lunch in ideal surroundings.
We step back in time at Geralka working farm museum near Spalding and marvel at how farming was all done in the past. Late in the afternoon we arrive in historical Burra for our overnight accommodation and dinner. After breakfast and a good sleep, we discover Burra and its Cornish mining history. Burra has a lot to see and do - where to start? Take a stroll down the main street and shop to you drop in the many antique shops. Now the shopping done, it is off to the mines and their history, plenty of time is needed, as there is much to see. Following tradition we stop of at one the local bakeries to enjoy a Cornish pasty before our return to Adelaide.

Day Two - Enjoy a hearty breakfast before we travel to Swan Reach and visit the Swan Reach and District Museum. A scenic drive leads us along the eastern side of the River Murray arriving at Nildottie to visit the Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal Site. Experience a walk through Aboriginal Dreaming Culture. After lunch we travel along the banks of the River Murray to Murray Bridge. Our Journey takes us to Old Tailem Town where we step back in time. Wander around this historic village, which contains more than 70 old buildings dating back as far as 1900. We then travel onto Dundee`s Wildlife Park discovering the large range of Australian wildlife and perhaps hold a baby crocodile, python or a black cockatoo. Day Three - As we leave Mannum and head home, we stop at Monarto Zoological Park and have a guided safari bus tour in their 1,000 hectare open range sanctuary. After lunch we journey to historic Hahndorf, for a beer at the pub. We meander in and out or the many art and craft shops, or simply enjoy a coffee at the local coffee shops. Our final stop is at Mount Lofty for a scenic view of Adelaide before ending our tour at 5pm. Includes breakfast and lunch.

Day One - Welcome to our Kangaroo Island Tour. We start our Kangaroo Island, experience from your city accommodation and travel to Cape Jervis to meet our Ferry departure at 12pm for a 45-minute crossing. After our arrival in Penneshaw we have - enjoy more options at this point (choose your options upon booking). Option One - Travel to Cape Willoughby historical lighthouse for a guided tour. With lots see on way to American River we stop at Prospect Hill for the fit and healthy challenge of 512 steps to top, with spectacular views all around. With our challenge done we arrive at Kangaroo Island Lodge for our dinner and Penguin Nocturnal Tour. Option Two - With lots see on way to our accommodation in American River we divert via Prospect Hill to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Craft and Gallery and around the corner is the Clifford Honey Farm, with the best honey ice cream in South Australia. Day Two - Kangaroo Island is larger than we think so with this in mind we depart after an early breakfast and travel an hour and a half to arrive at Seal Bay for our personalised beach tour. Here we see the rare breading colony of Australian Sea lions. After morning tea and a little gift shopping, we are back on the road again. Before long, we find ourselves stopping off at Little Sahara, briefly exploring the white moving sand dunes. With the tummy rumbling it is time for lunch before being inspired by the Birds of Prey show. See Wedge Tail Eagles in flight. Enjoy more options at this point (choose your options upon booking). Day Three - Our whirlwind tour continues, as today we reach our destination, at the southern tip of Kangaroo Island. In the Flinders Chase National Park, this morning we visit Remarkable Rocks, with wind swept sculptured boulders. Next stop is Weirs Cove, a once hostile environment and supply base for nearby Cape Du Couedic lighthouse. Down the hill we discover the spectacular Admirals Arch, a natural wonder sculptured by the sea. View New Zealand Fur seals frolicking in the surf or resting on the rocks. With time running away from us, we leave the National Park. Travelling (and in some cases back tracking) we arrive at Marron Cafe for a light lunch and with the Two Wheeler Creek Wines right next door, we may never leave. Day Four - With our departure time close, we have two options to consider - Standard tour - one last event to see a pelican feeding at 8.45am, by the staff of Kangaroo Island Lodge. Then we depart to Penneshaw for our 10.30am ferry departure. We travel from Cape Jervis to Adelaide. Tour concludes 1pm. Includes breakfast. Air departure option - you depart via Kingscote Airport to arrive Adelaide Airport 45-minute flight direct to Adelaide. Various departure times (subject to availability and tour departures). Day One - Depart Adelaide 8am and travel to Wilpena Pound through the country towns of the Clare Valley home of the Riesling Trail on to Spalding, Jamestown for a quick pub lunch and away we go, Orroroo, Carrieton, Cradock stopping as required for photo opportunities to arrive at the Historic Hawker. After a refreshing stop we continue on to Wilpena Pound and settle in to our accommodation. Taking advantage of our daylight we step back in time and visit Old Wilpena Station Homestead and visit Cazenaux tree with time for stunning sunset photos. Day Two - We start our day after an early breakfast with a walk to historical Hills homestead via sliding rock along Wilpena creek. Wangarra Lookout will give you panoramic views of Wilpena Pound. Swapping our walking shoes for the four-wheel drive, we take you on a picturesque drive through Moralana Valley, which lies between the southwest wall of Wilpena Pound and the Elder Ranges. Spotting native animals along the way, we forge across and along creeks (Maybe even with water). After some highway time we stop at the renowned Prairie Hotel at Parachilna to indulge in some `Flinders feral food`, wild fruits, kangaroo fillet, emu eggs or perhaps wallaby stir-fry. After lunch we continue our tour to Brachina Gorge, Bunyeroo Valley, Stokes Hill lookout, and return via Wilpena Solar Station. Day Three - Unfortunately our time in the Flinders Ranges and Outback closes and prepare for our return to Adelaide today, we look forward to our Kangaroo Island tour as our adventure continues. Today we step back in time and explore this ancient land a little more. As we leave Wilpena Pound and journey southwards via Hawker. Along the way we visit Yourumbulla Caves with some excellent examples of Aboriginal rock paintings and soon discovering Kanyaka ruins and old wheat property dating back to 1851. As we head home we stop at historic Quorn, home of South Australia`s famous Pichi Richi Railway. In Port Augusta we visit the, Australian Arid Lands Botanic Gardens, for a one-hour tour. At 1.45pm sharp we depart the Port Augusta area for our return to Adelaide via Port Wakefield for a quick rest stop we continue our return to arrive approx 5.30pm to our city Accommodation. Includes breakfast and lunch. City overnight accommodation included. Dinner and breakfast are own choice and cost. Super tour option we continue on to Kangaroo Island the next morning from city Accommodation.
Day Four After a relaxing breakfast we depart our city accommodation and travel to Cape Jervis to meet our Ferry departure at 12pm for a 45-minute crossing. After our arrival in Penneshaw we have - enjoy more options at this point (choose your options upon booking). Option One - Travel to Cape Willoughby historical lighthouse for a guided tour. With lots see on way to American River we stop at Prospect Hill for the fit and healthy challenge of 512 steps to top, with spectacular views all around. With our challenge done we arrive at Kangaroo Island Lodge for our dinner and Penguin Nocturnal Tour. Option Two - With lots see on way to our accommodation in American River we divert via Prospect Hill to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Craft and Gallery and around the corner is the Clifford Honey Farm, with the best honey ice cream in South Australia. With our off road adventure only starting we arrive at Kangaroo Island Lodge for our dinner and Penguin Nocturnal Tour. Both options - overnight accommodation at Kangaroo Island Lodge. Day Five - Kangaroo Island is larger than we think so with this in mind we depart after an early breakfast and travel an hour and a half to arrive at Seal Bay for our personalised beach tour. Here we see the rare breading colony of Australian Sea lions. After morning tea and a little gift shopping, we are back on the road again. Before long, we find ourselves stopping off at Little Sahara, briefly exploring the white moving sand dunes. With the tummy rumbling it is time for lunch before being inspired by the Birds of Prey show. See Wedge Tail Eagles in flight. Enjoy more options at this point (choose your options upon booking). Option one - Miss the Birds of Prey show and continue on to Kelly Hill Caves for the 2.15pm Adventure Caving Tour (own cost). Option two - Continue on to Kelly Hill Caves for the 3.15pm General Cave Tour (cost included). Option three - Enjoy Outdoor activities such as Quad Bike Eco Tour (own cost). With our activities completed we head to the Koala Walk and see koalas in their natural habitat. As the sun goes down, we stop at the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat. Day Six - Our whirlwind tour continues, as today we reach our destination, at the southern tip of Kangaroo Island. In the Flinders Chase National Park, this morning we visit Remarkable Rocks, with wind swept sculptured boulders. Next stop is Weirs Cove, a once hostile environment and supply base for nearby Cape Du Couedic lighthouse. Down the hill we discover the spectacular Admirals Arch, a natural wonder sculptured by the sea. View New Zealand Fur seals frolicking in the surf or resting on the rocks. With time running away from us, we leave the National Park. Travelling (and in some cases back tracking) we arrive at Marron Cafe for a light lunch and with the Two Wheeler Creek Wines right next door, we may never leave.
