Adelaide In Style 20 Minute Scenic Flight

What a way to see Adelaide. Board your classic 1950s Beech 18 aircraft and see Adelaide in a completely unique way on an exhilarating 20 minute scenic flight. Your historic airliner will fly to Outer Harbour and then fly down along the southern beaches to the Brighton Jetty for some stunning views, before turning to fly over the top of the city and back into Parafield.

Coober Pedy Opal Mine and Parachilna Two Day Tour

Do you want to try an incredibly unique and very Australian experience? Then fly to Coober Pedy in a nostalgic Beech 18 classic airliner and spend two days touring and discovering the wonders of this opal mining town before returning to Adelaide onboard your classic aircraft. Tour highlights include limousine transfers, tour of Coober Pedy, Big Winch Lookout. Old Timer’s Opal Mine, star gazing and a four wheel drive tour of Parachilna.

Day One - Start the trip in style as you are picked up from your hotel by limousine and transfered to Parafield Airport. Step back in time to the days when air travel was reserved for just a few as you board the beautiful Beech 18 aircraft. Fly over the Flinders Ranges and some very Australian countryside on your way to Coober Pedy. In Coober Pedy you can explore the very unique Old Timer`s Mine before being whisked away to the Underground Crystal Cafe for lunch (own cost). Spend the afternoon touring Coober Pedy or you can head out to play golf on Coober Pedy`s Golf Course, the only golf course where you have to carry your own turf. Check into the Desert Cave Hotel underground accommodation, then enjoy dinner at Tom and Mary’s Greek Taverna followed by star gazing before being returned to your accommodation for the night.

Day Two – Depart relatively early today for your flight down to Parachilna for lunch. After lunch board your Beech 18 aircraft for the final leg of your tour to Parafield Airport where an awaiting limousine will transfer you to your hotel. What a way to take in a lot in two days.
