Kangaroo Island Two Day Tour

Travel with Australian Soul Tours and Events in a small group with a maximum of 20 participants and experience the true wonders of this beautiful and unique island.

Just sixteen kilometres off the South Australian coast, Kangaroo Island is a natural paradise. An enormous variety of the flora and fauna is found on the island, which includes kangaroos, echidnas, koalas, wallabies, seals and penguins. The island takes you back to an early, natural Australia. Lonely beaches, deep blue sea, steep rock cliffs, hidden caves, protected bays and vast Eucalyptus wilderness.

Day One: After an early morning departure from your hotel in Adelaide we drive south to Cape Jervis. From there we catch the ferry over to Kangaroo Island. On our first day we visit Seal Bay. Walk along a beautiful beach and experience a colony of rare Australian Sea Lions. After lunch we travel to the Kelly Hill Conservation Park. The caves offer ancient and intriguing formations of stalagmites and stalactites. Later in the day we go in search of koalas in their natural environment. Overnight accommodation at Kangaroo Island Wilderness Retreat.

Day Two: After breakfast we drive into the Flinders Chase National Park, a huge wilderness area that covers most of the Western side of the island. In the park we explore various areas by getting up close and personal with the stunning array of flora and fauna. Also included is a visit to Remarkable Rocks a singular rock formation, as well as Admirals Arch, which is famous for its New Zealand fur seals. In the afternoon we depart Kangaroo Island and head back towards Adelaide.

Flinders Ranges Three Day Tour

The Flinders Ranges belongs to one of the oldest landscapes on earth and represents part of the real outback. They are characterised by breath taking beauty and have been photographed and painted by countless artists. See with your own eyes the spectacular rock formations, pictorial ravines and an indescribable flora and fauna.

Day One - Pickup from Adelaide Hotel and after brief introduction we will travel north towards the Clare Valley region. The Clare Valley is a world famous wine region. We then continue our journey via Melrose and Quorn to Wilpena Pound. On our way we will visit the Yourambulla Art side, where you will learn more about the Aboriginal culture. Overnight at Wilpena Pound.

Day Two - Today the motto is “Explore and feel the Flinders Ranges”. Wilpena Pound is a massive natural amphitheatre which is rich in flora and fauna. Get in touch with the real outback via guided bushwalks and the possibility to view Aboriginal Rock Paintings. Optional scenic flight. Overnight Wilpena Pound.

Day Three - We depart Wilpena Pound after Breakfast and head towards Adelaide. On our way back we will pass through Port Augusta and the Spencer Gulf. We arrive in Adelaide in early evening where our tour comes to an end.

Kangaroo Island Day Trip

Located 16 kilometres off the South Australian coast, Kangaroo Island is a natural paradise. The island takes you back to an early, natural Australia with isolated beaches, deep blue sea, steep rock cliffs, hidden caves, protected bays and a vast wilderness of eucalypts.

Depart Adelaide hotel at 6.45am and drive south to Cape Jervis for ferry to Kangaroo Island. Visit Seal Bay, walk along a beautiful beach and experience a colony of rare Australian sea lions. Adelaide City Walk Half Day Tour

Experience the capital of South Australia on a three and a half hour city tour. Together with your tour guide, walk through the centre of Adelaide`s central business district and along historic North Terrace. Visit the unique indigenous art display at the South Australian Museum and learn more about this ancient culture. A short walk will bring you to St Peters Cathedral, which reminds people of Notre Dame. Finally catch the tram to Glenelg and visit one of the most popular beaches in South Australia.

Flinders Ranges Five Day Tour

The Flinders Ranges belongs to one of the oldest landscapes on earth and represents part of the real outback. See with your own eyes the spectacular rock formations, pictorial ravines and indescribable flora and fauna.

Day One - Pickup from Adelaide hotel and travel north towards the world famous Clare Valley wine region. Then continue via Melrose and Quorn to Wilpena Pound. Overnight Wilpena Pound.

Day Four - Experience untouched wilderness on guided bushwalks and travel on an unsealed road back to the majestic Wilpena Pound. Overnight Wilpena Pound.

Day Five - Travel via Port Augusta and the Spencer Gulf towards Adelaide, arriving at approximately 6pm.

Adelaide to Coober Pedy Four Day Tour

Travel from Adelaide via the picturesque Clare Valley and incredible natural beauty of the Flinders Ranges to the opal mining town of Coober Pedy.

Day One - Pickup from Adelaide hotel and travel north towards the world famous Clare Valley wine region. Then continue via Melrose and Quorn to Wilpena Pound. Overnight Wilpena Pound.

Day Two - Early morning start to see Aboriginal rock paintings at Arkaroo Rock and Sacred Canyon. Then journey takes us via Blinman, Parachilna and Leigh Creek to Lyndhust, Travel on unsealed roads to Marree, in the middle of the outback. Overnight Marree.

Day Three - Today continue onto Coober Pedy, travelling approximately 380 kilometres across the outback, along the old Ghan railway track, the southern edge of Lake Eyre and Cowards Springs. Arrive in William Creek, a little town with just 10 residents and one of the most remote pubs in the country. After a cold drink and a little break continue on to Coober Pedy. Overnight at Coober Pedy.

Day Four - Explore the underground town of Coober Pedy. Visit an underground church, mine and a Potter`s studio.

Operates: Sunday with German speaking guide. French or Italian speaking guide available on request. Tour ends in Coober Pedy. Return tour from Coober Pedy to Adelaide is available departing Thursday.

Depart Kangaroo Island heading towards Melbourne travelling along one of the most beautiful and spectacular ocean roads of the world. On the way visit the Blue Lakes at Mount Gambier, enjoy magnificent walks in the National Parks and experience the majestic and awe inspiring southern coast and the world famous Twelve Apostles.
