Yorkey`s Outback Crossing Tour

Yorkey`s Crossing is a fascinating place at the junction of both the Eyre and Yorke Peninsula`s approximately 10 kilometres north of Port Augusta. This was originally the crossing used when droving stock or cameleers used this crossing. Edward John Eyre first crossed here in 1840 whilst looking for a route from Adelaide and Port Lincoln. We tour around Yorkey`s Outback Crossing taking in Flinders Lookout and the top of Spencer Gulf. We then follow in the footsteps of Edward John Eyre across outback country towards the Flinders Ranges. An excellent two-hour tour for those with limited time.
