Blyth Cottage was one of Burra`s original stone miners` cottages, built during the copper mining boom of the mid nineteenth century, in a quiet street opposite the old miner`s dugouts and a 10 minute walk from the town centre.
Burra is an historic mining town in the mid north of South Australia in the picturesque Clare Valley. Take a step back in time, experience this private, self-contained Cornish miner`s cottage which has been tastefully renovated to reflect the original heritage style.
Despite its unique and cosy design, adequate modern facilities make your stay extremely comfortable. Accommodating up to six people, there is a king bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge, all with electric blankets.
Your comfort is ensured with two open fireplaces and a reverse cycle air-conditioner. Tea and coffee will welcome you, food and drinks can be purchased in the nearby Market Square shopping precinct.

Blyth cottage is in a quiet street, only a short walk to shops. It sleeps up to six people in two bedrooms - one king and two single beds, all with electric blankets and linen. Features include fully equipped kitchen with crockery, utensils and large refrigerator, separate dining room with open fire place, lounge with open fire place and double sofa bed, digital television, DVD and CD players, reverse cycle air conditioning, laundry facilities including washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron, claw bath and separate room with full-stream shower, off street covered parking, private garden and secluded patio out back.
