Rockhampton has been named as the host city for the 2013 Basketball Queensland Under 16 Boys State Championships.
The State Championships series is Basketball Queensland`s biggest annual event and the Under 16 Boys tournament is always very tightly-contested, there`s a lot of preparation and healthy rivalry involved in the lead-up to the event.
The Under 16 Boys State Championships always attracts big crowds and a great deal of interest, as at this age group the athletes are just starting to show their potential as future Queensland or even Australian representative basketball players.
