Thiess River 2 Reef Ride
The Thiess River 2 Reef Ride is a mass participation ride, not a race, to raise funds for two local charities - RACQ CQ Rescue and Mackay Sporting Wheelies and to encourage more people to become active and involved in cycling. Last year this event attracted 1,100 cyclists. In 2013, it is estimated that numbers will reach 1,500! There are four distances to choose from: 35 kilometres, 60 kilometres, 90 kilometres or 135 kilometres. It finishes at the Blue Water Quay where breakfast food stalls...
