The Mackay Region Festival of Arts is one of Queensland's largest regional festivals. Held over a 16 day period, there are over 30 different events covering all art forms and catering to all audiences. The River Rock to Mountain Top Community Festival celebrates the natural and man-made attributes of the Pioneer Valley and Eungella. River Sessions Festival showcases a variety of Australia's leading musical acts across two stages in the heart of Mackay City. The festival has been held annually for the past three years, growing hugely in popularity.
