Chung Tian Temple

Chung Tian Temple was constructed using traditional Chinese architecture in 1992. Surrounded by nature, the Temple provides a peaceful and culturally beautiful venue for the community to celebrate their multicultural diversity and multi-faith harmony through Humanistic Buddhism. School and visitor tours are conducted, and you are invited to explore the grounds. The Temple also conducts weddings and baby blessings, and meditation, Buddhism and Chinese classes.

Kingston Butter Factory Community Arts Centre

Step back in time and explore this historic former butter factory at Kingston Butter Factory. Discover a wealth of historical artefacts at the Logan City Historical Museum. Mayes Cottage Museum

Mayes Cottage is a beautiful, intact example of early settlement of the Logan region and includes the original slab hut (1873), the house (1887), cowbells, barn and cream shed. Outside, there are mango trees which complement the scenic locality of this property which has views to Mount Tamborine. Mayes Cottage is now a colonial house museum and popular with school groups and tourists.
