The Kiama Rugby League Football Club, will again be running the `Knights Nines`, on the Saturday in March.
The Tournament attracts 32 teams, to the seaside town of Kiama for a day of Nine a Side League. With a Prize Pool exceeding $15,000, and a First Prize of $8,000, its easy to see why sides are lining up to get a game.
Last year a `Legends of Illawarra` side played, with Shaun Timmins, Craig Smith, Paul McGregor, John Simon and Ian Russell and the like gracing the paddock in pink jerseys for charity, The Jo Mackay, Helping Hand Foundation.
The charity run by former International Brad Mackay, who also participated on the day, raised more than $6,000 for Breast Cancer Research.
The tournament shapes to be a great day, and a chance for all teams to have a solid hit out, with a social atmosphere once business is over.
