Emirates Melbourne Cup Tour Hay

Hay welcomes the Melbourne Cup - a wonderful day is planned to welcome this national icon.

The Street Parade involving pony clubbers in Jockey silks, vintage cars, Cobb and Co coach and children with decorated racing hats. The parade travels to the Hay Racecourse for a community market day, racing history display and fashion parade. There will be food, barbecue and bar. Have your photo taken with the Melbourne Cup just 10 days before the big event.

A dinner at the Hay Services Club that night to showcase the cup, with guest speakers and memorabilia of the history of horse racing in Hay. Hay Jockey Club is the oldest sporting club in Hay. The Hay Races will be held on Saturday 22 November 2008 and this visit will build up to a wonderful exciting event.
