Annual Bredbo Sheep Dog Trials

There are a number of categories including encourage, novice, improver and open for the champions. With free admission to spectators, everyone can experience a taste of country life and watch the skill of owner and dog as they work as one to move the sheep through a series of obstacles. Cooma Australia Day Celebrations

Cooma Cats AFC Gala Day

Cooma Motorfest

The Cooma Motorfest will have a special display of construction machinery from the historic Snowy Mountains Scheme, vehicle displays including sedans, coupes, military vehicles, tractors, trucks, muscle cars and more. There will also be trade displays and children's amusements, entertainment and food stalls. Come along and enjoy the fun and fantastic vehicles and help support the Monaro Committee for Cancer Research. Entry is a gold coin donation.

Cooma Races and Sundowner Cup

Held annually with the main race being 'Sundowner Cup' - named in honour of the movie 'The Sundowner's' which was filmed in and around Cooma and Adaminaby in 1959. One thousand locals were extras at the Ti-Tree Racecourse when the race scene was filmed for the movie. Come and experience a great day out at the races. 2012 will be the 20th year of the Sundowner Cup.

Cooma Rodeo

The event takes place in the rodeo arena at the Cooma Showground from 2pm and will provide great spectator viewing. Cooma Rotary Markets

The Cooma Rotary Markets are held on the third Sunday of every month. The markets have up to 50 stalls supplying a variety of merchandise including craft, vegetables, nursery, garden implements, bric-a-brac, woodwork, second-hand books, prints, pottery, clothing, lavender products and much more. Bring the family along as there's even a jumping castle for the children to enjoy.

Michelago Pony Club Gymkhana

There are 17 fun and exciting sporting events. Riders have two attempts at each sporting event and only a riders best time counts. Monaro Stitchers Exhibition
