Clarrie Kirkland Reserve offers a fantastic picnic area located on the area of the Evans River known as the Little River. The area has excellent picninc facilities, beach showers, kiosk, cycle and walkways offering views of the Pacific Ocean. The Little River offers a great area for safe child friendly swimming.
This is a flat easy walking and cycling track through the reserve. The track follows a scenic route along the edge of the Little River to main beach which offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. It is approximately 2km in length.
These Man Made wetlands were developed in 1988 as a bicentennial project in an aim to preserve habitat primarily for our native bird species. The area features many water birds in their natural habitat. Walking trail with viewing platform and picnic area available. Casino Minirail operates from Wetlands every Sunday and Public Holidays
