Big Plane in Moree
The Big Plane is located in the grounds of Amaroo Tavern on Amaroo Drive in Moree.
Walk through the world famous C47 (DC3) aircraft. It features 50 years of aviation history - a record of the life of the Royal Australian Air Force. This aircraft served in the RAAF until the mid 70`s when it was given to the Papua New Guinea Defence Force as overseas aid.
Visitors can sit in the captain`s seat and imagine flying the aircraft during World War II.
