Boomi Artesian Hot Spa and Cold Pools

Boomi Artesian Hot Spa and Cold Pools were built at Boomi in 1903. The Boomi Pool Complex was built in 1976 with the hot pool added in 1996.
The pool complex has a 25 metre cold pool and a hot pool with two overheard jets, so come and relax in the quiet and uncrowded atmosphere. Hot water can also be added to the cold pools to help reduce the shivers a little!

It`s a terrific place to relax either in the water, on a poolside lounge or on the lush green lawn under the shade sails.

Artesian water is up to 2 million years old and is known in many cultures to have healing powers. The mineral rich water flows from nearly a mile underground from the great Artesian Basin. Harnessing this pure source of underground water since 1903 is a unique asset in our community.


Boomi is a quiet village (population 75), one hour from Moree in north western New South Wales and Goondiwindi in Queensland.
