The Dubbo Golf Club was established as an 18 hole course in 1903 and was relocated to its current position in 1921. In 1995, the 18 hole course was expanded to a state-of-the-art 27 hole course.
The golf course is a challenging par 71 and is set in beautiful surroundings. A visit to the National Trust’s Dubbo property, Dundullimal, is a special experience, which will allow you to step back in time, into rural life in the early colony.
Built in the early 1840s as the head station of a 6,500 hectare squatting run, the homestead is the oldest building in Dubbo that is open to the public.

Goonoo State Forest covers an area of more than 62,000hectares of ironbark forest. The forest is suitable for bushwalks and bushcamping. Goonoo State Forest is home to the endangered and magnificent malleefowl (Leipoa ocellata).
L:ess than 5% of the forest is selectively harvested each year . Surveys are conducted before all harvesting operations to identify malleefowl and other native animals.

The Shoyoen Sister City Garden is located in Elizabeth Park - Dubbo's developing Regional Botanic Garden, Coronation Drive, East Dubbo. The name of the Garden, 'Shoyoen', means 'strolling and refreshing garden.'

Taronga Western Plains Zoo - a safari around the world.
With more than 300 hectares of bushland, Taronga Western Plains Zoo is home to over 1,500 animals from all over the world. It is widely recognised as Australia's greatest open range zoo, successfully playing a part in international breeding programs for endangered Black Rhinoceros, Cheetah and Przewalski's Horse.
