Steam Train

A unique Railway museum featuring an authentic (circa 1923) Locomotive Depot and Steam Roundhouse. Entry is by voluntary donation. Light refreshments, videos, books and souvenirs can be purchased from the main entry building. Barbecue facilities are available on site as are toilets and rest areas.

LVR regularly conducts special train trips around the Lachlan Valley, visiting many of the beautiful and historic towns and villages in the region. For these trips LVR uses restored heritage carriages and locomotives. During the cooler months the steam locomotive is regularly used to haul these trains. LVR also offers a train charter service for business and private functions.
