Situated in the main street of the historic timber town, let the Pemberton Visitor Centre be your first port of call where the helpful staff can provide you with a free map of the area and guide through the large number of attractions of natural beauty that exists in the town and its surroundings.
Pemberton is an all year round destination. If you love bush walking, then Pemberton has some of the best natural and environmental walks in the state. Try climbing the world famous Gloucester Tree, situated only three kilometres from town, the tree was first pegged in 1946 and over one million visitors have scaled its 61 metre height.
If food is your thing, Pemberton boasts the home of the delicious crustacean called Marron. This fresh water crayfish is best eaten fresh washed down with a magnificent cool climate wine from one of Pemberton`s many wineries.
The Pioneer Museum lets you step back in time and discover a full scale settlers hut along with artifacts and tools from a bygone era.
The Centre is an agent for TransWA bus bookings as well as being able to make your local accommodation and tour bookings.
The Pemberton Visitor Centre is open Monday to Sunday 9am to 5pm. The Centre is closed on Christmas and Boxing Day.
