The friendly staff at the Broken Hill Visitor Information Centre will handle your bookings for local tours and provide you with all necessary information for your step into the Great Outback. The Broken Hill Visitor Information Centre is an accredited Level 1 Information Centre and has won the Rod Murdoch Memorial Award for recognition of outstanding contribution to tourism in NSW twice, 1995 and 2006.
The Visitor Information Centre also provides: Tour operator information and booking service, coach and group booking service, coach and group manual, public relation service for Trade and Travel agent familiarisations, Journalist familiarisations, Film Broken Hill - Film officers, Broken Hill Convention Bureau - Liaison services.
Facilities: The Tourist and Travellers Centre has a range of facilities, including showers, toilets and disabled access for visitors. On site coach parking bays and bus wash facilities. A parking area for large vehicles is available opposite the centre. Nominal fee for shower and bus wash use.
