Recreation SA will be hosting Recreation Week `Move into the Future` to promote recreational activities for a more active lifestyle by showcasing a variety of recreational activities in Adelaide and regional centres.
Move into the Future will be a fun filled week, with over 45 organisations taking part and more than 70 activities for South Australians to take part in!
The come and try activities on offer include aqua aerobics, cycling, bushwalking, canoeing/kayaking, swimming, Brazilian dancing, personal training, heart moves, high ropes, outdoor group fitness, countryside walking, active family fun day, Capoeira, tai chi, triathlons and much more! These activities are held from Monday to Sunday at different times and venues, so there are plenty of opportunities for South Australians to get involved and try something new that fits into a busy schedule.
This event will assist in creating links between recreational providers and the community to promote a sample of recreational activities, which will enable individuals to engage in active recreation and make it a regular part of their lifestyle.
Recreation SA will have a display stall in Rundle Mall, Adelaide on Monday 8 September from 10am to 2pm under the Gawler Place Canopy to officially launch Move into the Future. Recreation SA has organised several spectacular performances, competitions and giveaways and will distribute the program of activities for the week.
