Mount Wilson - On again this year is the Annual SpringFest Concert Picnic day at Breenhold. So come along bring a picnic lunch, a drink or two and a rug or fold-up chair for a relaxing day and concert.

Leura opens nine magnificent cool climate gardens all in their Spring Glory.
A trolley shuttle, travelling to all gardens, will meet incoming trains at Leura Railway Station.
Proceeds go to the Katoomba Hospital for the purchase of new specialist medical equipment.

Vietnam Veterans and Associated Forces Memorial Day March

Springwood - Springwood was the site of the first Vietnam Veteran march to commemorate the Battle of Long Tan, the most significant engagement by Australian Forces during the Vietnam War on 18 August 1966.
Each year on the closest Sunday, Vietnam Veterans gather in Macquarie Rd, Springwood at the fire Station and march to the War Memorial for a commemorative service and wreath laying.
