16th Annual ICON Australia All Girls Surf Showdown

Lennox Head - The Icon Australia All Girls Surf Showdown is the largest women’s surfboard riding competition in Australia possibly the world, hosted and organised by the All Girls Surfriders Club Inc. of Lennox Head. The event takes place on the Queen`s Birthday long weekend in June each year.

Celebrate all that’s great this Australia Day!
Special breakfasts, morning teas, billy tea and damper, lunches, barbecues and dinners will be held throughout the Shire. A major celebration at Lance Ferris Park in Ballina will commence at 4.30pm, with entertainment in the Park courtesy of the Ballina Shire Concert Band.

Annual Show and Shine in Ballina

Ballina - Vintage and verteran car enthusiasts will gather at Ballina for the annual North Coast Street Machine`s Show and Shine event.
More than 200 vehicles - from muscle cars to classic Holdens and Cadillacs to Hot Rods and Motor Bikes are expected to be on display.
Yet, there`s lots more to it than beautiful cars: The event is also a charity fundraiser and includes trade displays and entertainment, rock `n` roll dancing and competitions for the kids.
