The Territory Freshwater Fly Fishing Open is a catch, measure and release competition held at the beautiful Corroboree Billabong, part of the renowned Mary River system near Darwin. The prime species targeted are barramundi and saratoga, but many other species are pointed, including tarpon, archerfish, sleepy cod, long tom and sooty grunter. Points are awarded by length, with double points awarded for barramundi and saratoga.
