Cherry Villa B&B offers boutique accommodation in a heritage-listed building in the historic town of Hamilton, for a maximum of six guests. It is a convict-built sandstone building built in 1835 for a pioneer family. Cherry Villa is situated on a quiet street off the main highway, opposite a public tennis court. Hamilton is centrally located for easy access to iconic places to visit such as Mt Field National Park, just a 30-minute drive away. Lake St Clair National Park, a one-hour-and-25-minute drive away, is situated within the Central Highlands with easy access in all directions. A good place to stay on the way to or from Strahan (a three-and-a-half-hour drive) and a one-hour drive from Hobart. Cherry Villa is a traditional style B&B accommodation with the comforts of home.
Rose Room has a queen size bed, chaise lounge and antiques. The main colours are pink and cream, and there is an open fireplace (decorative only). Wren Room has a king size bed which can change to twin accommodation if required.There is an open fire and this bedroom is decorated in hues of blue and white. Gardenia Room offers twin accommodation in a dormer bedroom decorated in white. Note that this room is accessed by steep stairs. There is a sitting room available that includes tea and coffe making facilities, television, DVD and a selection of inhouse movies. A closed fire exudes an warm ambience in the colder months. Two bathrooms with either a claw foot bath/shower in one or shower only bathroom is available.
