Blueberry Bed and Breakfast is located just east of Burnie on Tasmania's North West Coast. The country home at Heybridge is in a quiet rural setting surrounded by mature gardens and ocean views. It provides level access with some facilities for guests of limited mobility. Accommodation is provided with two self-contained apartments. The first is a one bedroom apartment with queen bed suitable for two guests and has garden views, the second has three bedrooms suitable for up to six guests with sea views. The laundry and the recreation room with table tennis are shared. Special weekly rates are available. The nine acre property is planned for permaculture farming with blueberry production its main focus. Various fruits, berries, vegetables and herbs are grown without chemicals. The back boundary meets a government reserve leading down to the Blythe River. While you are there, you can visit nearby attractions including Gunns Plains Caves which is on the way to Cradle Mountain, and Wings Wildlife Park. Burnie Rhododendron Gardens are also nearby. Blueberry Bed and Breakfast is ten km from Burnie, 43 km west of the Devonport ferry terminal and three km from the sea.
The apartment has three bedrooms, one with queen bed and ensuite bathroom, the second bedroom has two single beds, the third bedroom has a queen sized bed. The family bathroom with separate shower and bath is accessed from the hallway. Two bedrooms have ocean views, the third is a garden view. There is a full kitchen, linen and towels are supplied. The laundry and recreation room with table tennis are in an adjacent patio. The lounge room has a reverse cycle air conditioner and flat screen television. Outdoors, under cover is a barbecue. Mature gardens surround the house, the yard is fenced. The entrance has a farm gate. Parking is five metres from front entrance, with level access. Continental breakfast provisions are provided.
