Located in Stokes National Park, Benwenerup Camp is a great spot with access to Stokes Inlet for a range of water-based activities, including canoeing, kayaking, boating and fishing.

Stokes Heritage Walk Trail is also accessible from the campground.

There are 11 individual campgrounds, six of which are big enough for large campervans and camper trailers. All 11 can accommodate regular size caravans, camper trailers, large campervans and tents.

There are three further areas that are large enough for three or four large caravans or camper trailers camping together.

The camp also features two camp kitchens with gas barbecues, a dishwashing sink, food preparation surfaces and picnic tables and benches. The camp kitchen and toilets have been designed for wheelchair access.

Campers are advised that campfires are not permitted at any time and bookings cannot be made.

The campground is popular during school holidays and weekends from October to April, particularly public holiday weekends. Be prepared with an alternative place to stay at these times in case there is no suitable site(s) available.

Parks entry fees apply to Stokes National Park.
