Kapunda - Anlaby Station was first settled in 1839 by the Dutton family. Originally, the station consisted of 160,000 acres or 25 miles long by 10 miles wide.
The station was world famous for its Merino wool, which dated back to 1839 when Mr F.H. Dutton brought 18,000 mixed sheep from New South Wales. Balaklava Museum Centenary Hall
Balaklava - Centenary Hall is one of two sites operated by Balaklava Museum Incorporated. It was built in 1878 and has a colourful history, having been occupied by the Church of Christ, Druids and Rechabite Lodges, Primary and High Schools, a kindergarten, and the Lutheran Church, and was also used for town band and choral society practice, before being purchased by the local branch of National Trust in 1975.

Blyth - The Blyth Golf Club features an 18 hole course with sand greens. It boasts a licensed bar which is only open on club days. Ladies club days are on Wednesdays and men`s club days are on Saturdays, with an Ambrose competition on Sundays. The course is only open during the winter season due to extreme heat during the summer. Par for the course is 72 and its Australian course rating is 66, with a length of 5658 metres.
Burra - The Bon Accord Mine Complex is owned and administered by the National Trust, Burra, and is concerned with preserving, studying and exhibiting items that help in illustrating and explaining the story of the Burra area.
The display includes a working forge, a six metre by five metre model of the Burra Mine depicting traditional underground mining in 1860 and, in the old waterworks building, an original mine shaft from which Burra pumped its water supply until 1966.

Burra - This was an English style township, a private township named after an assayer at the Smelting Works, Edward Hampton. It contained 30 simple miners` cottages and a Bible Christian Chapel. Much of the stone quarried there was used in many of Burra`s fine old buildings. The township was abandoned finally in 1960.

Burra - In 1851, up to 2,000 miners and their families lived in these dugouts along the riverbed. Floods drove many people out into the homes built by the mining companies.
Wages were low, but some miners continued to live in poor conditions with the constant threat of floods and disease, rather than pay rent. By 1860, the dugouts were virtually deserted.

Burra - The Powder Magazine was erected in 1847 and is the oldest remaining mine building in Australia. It stored gunpowder used in blasting at the mine.
The building has an arched stone roof for strength and was lined with sheepskin for safety. The National Trust restored it in 1976.

Burra - 1856 gaol, used in the South Australian Film Corporation film, “Breaker Morant”.
The gaol was closed in 1894 and later used as a girls’ reformatory. It features displays depicting the life and living conditions of prisoners and reformatory inmates.

Mintaro - Reilly`s winery and restaurant was established in 1993 in the original stone and slate building, which was built by Hugh Reilly in 1856 as a general store for the Burra Mines.

Watervale - Stephen John has been a winemaker for over 25 years, coming from a generation of coopers (oak barrel makers) in the Barossa Valley.
In January 1994 Stephen decided that he wanted to branch out on his own, so he established seven hectares of vineyard, all dry grown.
