  • Boomerang Beach

    Pacific Palms - Renowned for its excellent surfing waves, Boomerang beach is a popular family beach for those holidaying in the Pacific Palms area. Ringed in the north by Booti Booti National Park the headland and rocky outcrop provides ideal snorkelling, rock pools and shelter, whilst the southern headland is responsible for the ideal waves surfers enjoy. The crystal clear waters, white sand and frolicking dolphins make this an ideal family beach, particularly in summer holidays when the beach is patrolled.

    Forster - Booti Booti National Park is located on 1,567 hectares and is located 140 kilometres north of Newcastle and 10 kilometers south of Forster.

    The National Park has beaches of all shapes and sizes, forests by the ocean and good fishing. Wallis Lakes is on the park`s western boundary.

    Bulahdelah - Strike-a-light Camping Area is the only designated camping site in Myall River State Forest (17,650 hectare mountainous forest) surrounding Bulahdelah.

    Located close to Mammy Johnson`s River and its many small streams, the large, open grassy camping area makes a great base for exploring the surrounding forest by foot, mountain bike or four-wheel-drive.

    Bulahdelah - This is a beautiful 30-minute walking trail. Flora Reserve features a range of virtually undisturbed forest types including flooded gum, moist eul and rainforest.   • Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse

    Seal Rocks - The lighthouse is significant because it is the first major lighthouse by James Barnet. It is also significant, as it is only one of two towers in Australia with an external stairway.
