Rutherglen - Mount Prior has some 109 acres under vine. The property was established in 1859 operating as a winery from about 1860 through to 1912 when the winery was destroyed by fire. This was reconstructed in 1981 after 69 years absence from the Rutherglen winemaking fraternity.
