Coonamble - The Coonamble Historical Museum is the former police station built in 1886 and has been converted to the Coonamble Historical Museum. The museum displays artefacts, photographs, implements and household utensils used in Coonamble’s early history. The “trooper” brick horse stables have been retained in original form with stalls, feed boxes and saddlery and is one of only two of its kind left in NSW. Gulargambone - Gulargambone Mural is a mural for the community including personal images in an abstract and literal form of Gulargambone`s past, present and future. The Mural will be displayed in the main street in empty shop windows.
Gulargambone Mural has been funded by Regional Arts New South Wales, which has involved local artists, Gulargambone Central School students, the local community and Indigenous groups.
Gulargambone - Located in Gulargambone, two eight two eight is a vibrant, unique, exciting and innovative community project in central western New South Wales.
Local volunteers created two eight two eight in an attempt to reinvigorate their town`s economy. They began by refurbishing a dilapidated building in the
main street to develop a tourist information centre, and over the next few years the project grew into something much more.
