Huey Cameron Park and Swing Bridge
Hillston - Located just off the main street, the Hughie Cameron Park features a pedestrian swing bridge over the Lachlan River, leading to a picnic area, which is also home to a number of locally created sculptures. The Park and picnic area is a great rest stop, with nearby parking for car and vans.
Hillston - Lake Woorabinda is a man made lake, first filled in 1972. The Lake provides many activities, including swimming and water skiing, bird watching and a walking track around the entire lake. The lake is s a haven for birdlife and in summer is perfect for a cool dip or a walk along the water`s edge.
Merriwagga - Memorial to Pioneer Women, is a Ron Clarke sculpture dedicated to the hardships endured by our pioneers when settling the land.
Across the road is The Black Stump Hotel, a character-filled pub that boasts the tallest bar in Australia. Visitors can share a yarn or two with the locals over a cold drink and relax on the ‘Flintstone-like’ bar stools
