Junee - An engineering feat constructed in the 1940`s to allow rail engines to negotiate the steep slope. The Bethungra spiral on the Sydney to Melbourne line, goes through two tunnels and over the top of the hill, through a big cutting at the spur.
This is the only example of a 360 degree spiral in Australia.

Junee - The Junee Roundhouse Museum allows you access to one of the few working roundhouse turntables, it is also one of the largest at 30 metres. The Museum also has a number of items you cannot see anywhere else in Australia, for example, the only working steam driven accident crane.
