Thirty kilometres to the east of Dalwallinu is an interesting spot. It is one of the highest points around the district and a climb to the top of the hill gives one a panoramic view to the east.
A large granite rock and water catchment area, it has a large cement tank built in the late twenties to provide fresh water for the surrounding district - a scarce commodity in the early days.
After winter rains, a delightful little stream winds its way through the rocks, its edges studded with wildflowers.
