Valley Heights Locomotive Depot Heritage Museum

Explore the oldest remaining Roundhouse in NSW and witness restoration works being carried out on Tramway and Railway exhibits.

Take a short ride on a steam train and view the model railway layout. Locomotives to see include the Standard Goods Steam Engine 5461 and 46 Class Electric Locomotive 4601 as well as a 1890s Sydney steam tram. 5711 - The only survivor of heaviest steam locomotive class in NSW is under restoration at the museum. See exhibits of rail artefacts and paintings.

Local history and photographic display plus a large collection of books, videos and souvenir items are also available.

Barbecue facilities are available or relax with a cup of tea or coffee and cake in the tea rooms.
