Abercrombie House was built by James Stewart (c. 1870s). The 40 room historic mansion was originally the home of the Stewart family - Bathurst pioneers. It is now the home of the Morgan family who bought it in 1969 and have spent almost thirty years on a program of restoration and redecoration.
It is one of the largest private homes in the Central West covering 210 squares, with 29 fireplaces, 7 staircases, more than 40 rooms and a ballroom with a ceiling 28 feet high.
The Mosque is situated on the site of the former 'Camel Camp' where Afghan and Indian Camel drivers loaded and unloaded their camel teams, from the earliest days of Broken Hill. It was constructed around 1891 as a place of worship for the followers of the Prophet Mohammed (or Mahomet) and is the only surviving Mosque in Australia which was built by early cameleers.
The Mosque's alcove points toward Mecca, and prayer rugs have been left by worshippers in appreciation of the Mosque.

Bedervale Homestead was designed by the architect John Verge (who also designed Camden Park at Menangle and Elizabeth Bay House in Sydney) and was built for Captain John Coghill in 1839 on a land grant he selected in 1826 at Braidwood.
The homestead remained in the family until 1973 when it was sold to the present owners who in 1975 arranged for a national estate grant to purchase the furniture collection. The National Trust of New South Wales was nominated as owners.
The Belmore Railway Station was built between the boom of the 1880s and the standardisation of the 1890s, making it an interesting combination of the two styles. The Canterbury Council provides an interpretive sign, outlining the Station's history.
